Free SHUTTLE to/from Second Beach
Free CULTURAL EXPERIENCES - if you want to experience African culture at its most traditional, simply take a 5km walk along the cliffs towards Second Beach. No guide is necessary (but can be arranged if you wish, at a small cost). Stroll through the clifftop lali (village), chat with the friendly villagers, perhaps play football with some of the local kids, stop in at the Millenium Bar and maybe see dolphins & whales while you sip on a drink. End up at Delicious Monster restaurant at Second Beach - we'll come & pick you up for free.
Free SUNDOWNERS on Mount Thesiger (altitude 350m). Stunning views of the Wild Coast - we provide free transport to the top (& down again), and run a cash bar.
Free 4x4 TRIPS up & down the coast. We're always going somewhere, whether it's to the beautiful Poenskop or to the town of Lusikisiki, or going to the forest to find firewood - if you've nothing to do, just ask to come along.
Free WATERFALL WALK. Bulolo Waterfall is a beautiful place, surrounded by jungle - we provide free transport to and from the drop-off point.
There's BEACHES aplenty - uncrowded and pristine. Take the hostel dogs for a walk, suntan, swim or surf
Free GOLF CLUBS. Port St Johns has a 9-hole golf course - we provide the clubs
JAM SESSIONS - we've got an open stage with guitars - electric, bass & acoustic - drums, piano, keyboard, PA system & DJ mixing deck. Musicians are welcome to make a big noise!
